Alternative Site Testing (AST)
Which lancing systems can be used for lancing on alternative sites?
The lancing device models of the platforms Accu-Chek FastClix and Accu-Chek Softclix can be used for alternative site testing (AST) by using a specially designed AST cap. There are AST kits with instructions for use available to hand out to the customers for each product.
The Accu-Chek Softclix AST cap was phased out in 2021 for OUS countries.
